This may be the best thing on the web. Thank you internet.

A great and wise individual mashed up Kendrick Lamar's a capella verse on the album version of "i" where he breaks down the word negus. The video features Andrew Lay at 2007 Scripps National Spelling Bee contestant. The word he had to spell was negus (HA). In the video, the audio for the presenters are switched with lines from the verse. It's kind of genius. The video was already pretty great because the awkwardness of Lay trying his hardest not to say the N-word. Now with the mashup, it's a thing of beauty.

In other news, two quick snippets of “All Day (remix)” featuring Lamar sprung up on Kanye fan sites like Yeezy Talk yesterday (April 8). It's short and not very good quality, but hearing the two big names together is exciting enough. He told Power 106 L.A.’s J Cruz show that he recorded music with 'Ye but doesn't know if he's on Kanye's upcoming album So Help Me God. Kendrick Lamar is also engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Whitney Alford. He broke the last week.

“I’m loyal to the soil,” he said. “At the end of the day you want to always have real people around you period. Everybody that’s been around me has been down since day one and I can’t change that. I don’t change for nobody. I always show respect when respect is being given and people that’s been by your side, you supposed to honor that. That’s how you stand up.”

Watch the mashup above and listen to Kendrick's verse below. Kendrick Lamar, by far, realest Negus alive.
