After the tragic death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray on April 19 due to a severe spinal cord injury after being chased down and tackled by police and after two days of protesting in Baltimore, Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era joined New Yorkers at Union Square to protest. Hundred of protestors are marching downtown NYC in honor of Gray and in conjunction with the protestors in Baltimore. Monday (April 27) chaos erupted that afternoon after the funeral for Freddie Gray and everything was filmed on CNN. Russell Simmons organized the march.
