Along with these performances on four different stages, there will be B-Boy battles, live DJs, artists painting live, skateboard demos and a custom car show. The Rhymesayers Entertainment-curated festival has been growing at a rapid rate over the past eight years. In 2013, the festival was attended by 28,000 fans and was headlined by Snoop Lion, Atmosphere, Juicy J and others. Last year, Nas (who performed Illmatic in full), Wiz Khalifa and Pusha T all descended upon Minnesota to tear up the stage. The festival got extra pub when Wiz Khalifa was released from prison in El, Paso Texas after being detained and charged with marijuana possession and made it just in time to rock the massive Soundset crowd. "I was in jail this morning from 6 AM to 2 PM in the afternoon," Wiz told Tracy G. of Sway In The Morning after the show. "And at 6 PM in the evening, I'm on stage."
