ScHoolboy Q was the principal for Maritime High School. Educational non-profit organization, Get Schooled brought Q to Baltimore, Md. for a celebrity principal celebration.

Maritime High School got the opportunity by raising its attendance 10% and winning the Get Schooled’s National Attendance Challenge. There the TDE rapper met with the student body and got challenged some to a game of basketball. Q92's Johnny Doswell aka Porkchop was the host for the event and interviewed ScHoolboy. For the sitdown the Groovy Q discussed life principals such as believing in yourself and teamwork . “Keep working don’t listen to nobody if you believe in yourself, believe in yourself. If plan A don’t work, work on another plan A,” he said. Q also spoke on aspiring artists, “I see a lot more creativity. It’s a lot more rappers so a lot of good stuff gets overlooked. The bar keeps being pushed higher and higher.”

Q headlined the first annual Rolling Loud Music festival earlier this month. He along with Action Bronson, Juicy J, A$AP Ferg, Curren$y and more ripped the stage with amazing performances (See video below).  ScHoolboy Q also made an hilarious appearance on Scott Aukerman and Reggie Watts’ IFC comedy show Comedy Bang! Bang and claimed he’s sponsored by the letter “Q.” SBQ has been quiet with new music but his labelmate Kendrick Lamar is dropping his new album in less than two weeks.
