After teasing fans with a snippet of the song, Lil Herb and Lil Bibby have delivered the video for "Ain't Heard About You," their swaggering, menacing collaboration. Chicago has been bursting at the seams with young talent for several years now, with acts like Chief Keef and Chance The Rapper vaulting themselves into living rooms and onto radio dials across America. But where those artists represent opposite ends of a spectrum--Chance honed his craft at after-school programs where rap intermingled with poetry and academia, while Keef's brand of drill music existed completely outside of those apparatuses--Herb and Bibby are somewhere in the middle. Though ostensibly drill artists in their own right, both young MCs are versatile and undeniable in a way that defies categorization.

Both made many critics' year-end lists last year, Bibby with the second installment of his Free Crack mixtape series, Herb with his phenomenal Welcome to Fazoland. The latter is a chilling chronicle of post-2000 Chicago and the rampant violence therein, distilled down into Herb's unmistakable growl. Though no plans for a collaborative tape have been announced, the two have been consistent collaborators.
