Hours before OTF Chino, Lil Durk's manager, was fatally shot last week (March 27) in South Side Chicago, he was with Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah planning a 'Rock Your Drop' anti-violence campaign. The campaign was for Noah's Arc Foundation, which has been fighting against gun violence in the Windy City for many years now.

While speaking with ABC Chicago after practice on Monday (March 30),  Noah said this sort of violence happens in Chicago all the time. "What happened to that man is just really sad, nobody deserves to die that way, unfortunately it's the harsh reality," said Noah.

Chino, whose real name was Uchenna Agina, was shot multiple times around, including once in the head, at 1:50 a.m. last Friday while sitting in a car outside  of the Stony Sub restaurant in Avalon Park. After being taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital by a friend, the 24-year-old victim was declared dead at 2:04 am. The investigation is ongoing and no one is in custody.

Following Chino's passing, Def Jam released the statement below: "We are deeply saddened by the news of this tragedy. The Def Jam family shares our most heartfelt sympathy, condolences and prayers with the family and loved ones of Uchenna Agina.”
