Kendrick Lamar Will Headline Sweetlife Festival
Already scheduled to headline the Essence Music Festival, the Sasquatch Festival, the Wireless Festival, and Bonnaroo, Kendrick Lamar added another headlining gig to his summer lineup as it was announced he will be the featured artist at the 2015 Sweetlife Festival. The two-day festival, which will be held May 30 and 31 in Columbia, Maryland, will also feature The Weeknd, SZA, GoldLink, Bishop Nehru and more. Presale tickets are available here.
While K.Dot continues to add dates to his summer festival tour, the music world awaits his follow up album to good kid m.A.A.d city. Kendrick and the rest of TDE have been tight-lipped about the project with no news leaking from inside the camp. Outside of Michael Jackson's son, no one has heard new music from the project and only a fake tracklist has hit the web. Kendrick shook things up with the release of "The Blacker The Berry" in early February and the song's lyrics were broken down by Pulitzer-winning author Michael Chabon.
