This is interesting.

Kendrick Lamar’s "King Kunta" off of his recently album To Pimp a Butterfly gets a mashup with the theme song from Seinfeld. It's an odd yet extremely catchy record that is surprisingly very good. The track fits so perfectly over on the theme song that it's kind of interesting why wasn't this thought of before. The funkiness of the iconic Seinfeld theme matches perfectly with the delivery of Kendrick. Could the West Coast native and the stand-up comedian link up for some original work?

Jerry Seinfeld, however, is working with Wale for his new The Album About Nothing. TAAN is due out in March 31. As for the TDE artist, his new album is little over a week old and is creating quite a buzz. Rapsody spoke on the importance of TPAB.

"It's kinda hard to put it in words; to me, this is probably one of the biggest and most important albums in hip-hop and outside of hip-hop that I can think of, you know, in its honesty, how well it was executed, the emotion of it, the musicality of it," she said. "It's soulful, it's funky, it's hip-hop, it's angry, it's revolutionary, it's depressing. It's real Black music. There's so much that goes into this album at a time, especially in society, when it's need. They say that art is supposed to reflect what's going on at the time in the world. This is that album. This is what we need. It gives me the same feeling as when I heard [D'Angelo's] Black Messiah as well, a whole nother level. And that's the type of music that we need. We have music for the club, but we need life music. It's perfect, man. I'm floored."
