Happy Friday everyone.

Judging from the iTunes link, the album will be called
[Untitled]

Also Kendrick's website redirects to the iTunes link. Not even a full quarter into 2015 and the year is looking epic. Music from the TDE star has been released sporadically. Last month KDot dropped a bombshell when he put out “The Blacker The Berry,” the only song that appears on the 16-record tracklist off his sophomore album from the iTunes link (see below). “Berry” is unapologetic–”My hair is nappy, my dick is big, my nose is round and wide”; “I’m a proud monkey”–and the most militant has sounded on wax or .wav in some time. Over Boi-1da’s soul-rattling drums, Kendrick kicks around the idea of “this Black man meant to be special” as a hypocrite, his pride in his origins bumping up against his terrestrial shortcomings.

The former XXL Freshman teamed up with Jonathan Emile for “Heaven Help Dem” and last December he debuted a new song called "Untitled" on The Colbert Report alongside Terrance Martin and Thundercat. The L.A. producer revealed that the song was actually created a day before they appeared on the show.

Information on the album is scarce. Prince Jackson, the son of pop icon Michael Jackson, sent out a tweet late last month with pictures of him and K. Dot together with the caption “Had the great honor of meeting Kendrick and hearing some of his new tracks for his upcoming album with @RealOBee." Last November the West Coast MC told DJ Whoo Kid that his little brother is the only one who has his new album.

Kendrick was featured on the cover for our Winter issue. If you haven't read it, take a look at it here. The album is currently available for pre-order on iTunes now.
