Karrueche Tran Opens up About Relationship with Chris Brown

Now that things look like they are officially over between Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown, Tran is opening up about her longtime relationship with the troubled singer. Karrueche recently appeared on an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN, to chop it up with famed spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant about her bond with Brown.

During the at times tearful 40-minute interview, Tran talked about meeting and dating the Virginia singer even after the Rihanna assault incident and spoke on Brown and RiRi's fling while she was with him, among other things. “I was under the impression that it was a friend type of — not a friend — but it wasn’t what it became to be … I didn’t want to believe it,” she said. She went on to reveal how the former union has affected her life.

Brown and Tran's relationship has been rocky over the years, at times spilling out into the public forum. The most recent break up to make up episode came in December when Brown blasted Tran on stage, then later on Instagram with a lengthy diatribe about her lack of loyalty. He would later apologize. Things seemed to be back to normal until news broke earlier this month that Brown was the father of a 9-month-old baby girl that Tran had no idea about. That would be the final straw for Tran who announced her separation from Brown via Twitter. Do you think they are finally over? Like, for real, for real, this time?
