Stream Freddie Gibbs’ ‘Pronto’ EP

While fans wait for his album Lifestyles Of The Insane, Freddie Gibbs dropped an unexpected three-track EP called Pronto earlier today.

The Gary, Indiana has a busy festival season coming up with performances scheduled for SXSW, Soundset, Bonnaroo and Pitchfork Music Festival. Madlib, who Gibbs collaborated with for Pinata, will join the rapper on stage at Soundset and Pitchfork. Check out the dates below:

During the fall of 2014, Gibbs was shot at following a show in Brooklyn when a lone gunman approached his car. The rapper escaped unscathed but two members of his crew were taken to the hospital with injuries. Following the attack, Gibbs told the New York Post, "They tried to kill Tupac. They tried to kill me. I'm still alive."
