Boosie Badazz is not someone to cross. During a recent show at a St. Paul nightclub, a member of Boosie's entourage was forced to punch a fan square in the face, after the latter had repeatedly tried to gain access to the stage. In video footage obtained by TMZ, the fan can be seen trying to hoist himself up toward the Baton Rouge rapped by the monitors at the front of the stage, only to have a man calmly walk into the frame and apply his fist to the fan's jaw. After he falls back into the crowd, the fan is hauled off by security, presumably to be removed from the venue. Throughout the incident, Boosie remains calm and continues to rap.

Since his release from prison almost exactly a year ago, Boosie has been on a tear. The revered rapper dropped a mixtape, Life After Deathrow, that doubles down on all his considerable gifts, empathizing with his fellow prisoners ("I Feel Ya,") lashing out at fairweather friends ("I'm Coming Home," "The Fall") and expressing pure, unqualified joy ("O Lord"). His next album, Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, has been teased for several months now. The record is reportedly a double disc and is expected to be released some time this year.
