Will Smith Recording With Kanye West

Will Smith has been working with Kanye West on a musical comeback.

During a screening of his new film, Focus, the Fresh Prince told reporters in London that it may just be time to hop back in the studio. He shared that he's recently been collaborating with Kanye West.

“I think I may have gotten inspired again," said the Fresh Prince. "I went into the studio a few months ago with Kanye. Sorta top secret so, maybe.”

One doesn't just say they're working with Kanye West and end there. This isn't the first time Smith and West have worked together. Back in 2013 the two were in the studio. We will have to wait and see if anything comes out of these recent studio sessions.

In addition to dishing on working with Yeezy, Smith mentioned that it's all because of his son Jayden Smith that he's even considering making new music.

"I’m in a creative ceiling," said Smith.  "My son tells me I have to write out the things I don’t like. I can’t write and stop, I have to keep going and going and write them out. I’ve never worked like that before but I think I might give that a shot.”

Check out the red carpet interview above. After a two-year hiatus, Smith has returned to big screen in the upcoming film, Focus, in which he plays a con man alongside the beautiful Margot Robbi from The Wolf of Wall Street. Focus hits theaters Feb. 27.
