Will Smith recorded a bunch new tracks with Kanye West. While speaking with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday (Feb. 24), the "Gettin' Jiggy With It" MC said that him and 'Ye had entered the studio a few times, but he was reluctant to say whether or not the tracks would appear on a potential new album. Recently Hollyscoop caught up with Will Smith during the screening of his new film Focus to get more details on the collaboration.

“You know I’ve recorded a lot,” said Smith. “I don’t have anything I like yet. I've probably recorded seven or eight [songs], but it’s not for certain, it’s just explorative.”

It seems like Will really isn't sure if he wants to step back into the music industry or not. It's appears he's testing the waters for a comeback of some sorts. Over the past few days the Fresh Prince performed a few of his classic throwback hits. He took it back when he performed Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air theme song on The Ellen Degeneres show yesterday (Feb. 25)  and "Gettin' Jiggy With It" on Letterman last week (Feb. 18). “I think I may have gotten inspired again,” said the Fresh Prince to Yahoo. The last album Will Smith has released was Lost and Found in March 2005, spawning the singles "Switch" and "Party Starter." The album is certified gold. The album featured Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke,  Nicole Scherzinger from The Pussycat Dolls (remember them?) and Elephant Man.

In Focus, Will Smith plays a con man alongside Margot Robbie. The movie hits theaters tomorrow (Feb. 27). Check out the short interview above. The megastar also dropped in on Jimmy Kimmel Live and performed "Summertime" (see below).
