1017 Brick Squad's own Peewee Longway gets the Gangsta Grillz treatment with his latest release, The Blue M&M Vol II. With features from Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Yo Gotti, Offset and production from the likes of Zaytoven, Longway makes a statement as another artist from Atlanta to keep an eye on. Hosted by DJ Drama, Longway joins elite company by having his own Gangsta Grillz project.

Featured in XXL's 'The Break' section back in May of 2013, Longway has appeared with some of the biggest names in hip-hop and earned a lot of attention with the remix to 'Servin Lean' which featured A$AP Rocky. He dropped The Blue M&M a month later and gained more traction. His career took a bit of a hit when he was arrested in August for illegal possession of a controlled substance and first degree possession of marijuana while in Alabama.

The Gangsta Grillz mixtape series has been going strong for over a decade now and DJ Drama recently looked back at the undisputed classic Trap Or Die mixtape with Jeezy. "I remember being on the road with Tip and every city I would go to would I hear Trap Or Die," Drama told XXL. "Gangsta Grillz just became the standard. It took everything to new heights. Nobody can say they don’t own Trap Or Die and is really a hip-hop fan if they were coming up in that time. There are people from artists to athletes; there're so many people from different realms that Trap Or Die was their soundtrack. It inspired people to get on their grind, whatever that grind may be. Whether it was in the streets or to be a doctor, it was inspiration music. I always tell people, even from where I took mixtapes and put my personality into the tape. I was becoming known for some of my speeches on the mixtapes. I took what used to be just a form of shoutouts [and] I turned that into a new perspective or new personality on the tapes."
