With the  fifth season of HBO's Game of Thrones premiering on April 12, the hit show is releasing a new mixtape entitled Catch the Throne: The Mixtape, Vol. 2 in March. The 15-track mixtape features guest appearances from Snoop Dogg and Method Man as well as heavy metal acts like Anthrax and Killswitch Engage. The tape will be for free and plays on the series' themes of fire and ice. In a statement sent by the West Coast OG, "off the top, I love Game of Thrones - I even gave my expert analysis of this season on my GGN show. It's like the rap game, it's gangster, about family, loyalty and trying to get to the top. I had to get involved. Give the fans a little bit of how I see it."

Last year the popular TV series  released Catch the Throne, which boasted rap stars such as Wale, Common, Big Boi, Bodega Bamz, Kilo Kish, Magazeen, Snow tha Product and Dee Goodz. You can listen to that here. Speaking of Snoop, he's pissed at the Grammys. Mr. Doggystyle hopped on Instagram Tuesday (Feb. 10) to vent, saying “F**k the Grammys.”  He said the same thing last December when he went on his IG account, explaining how The Grammys don’t respect street culture, artists or music unless they become a cross-over. But there's one thing to smile about. 20 players from Snoop Youth Football League have signed letters of intent to Division 1 schools.

Snoop and Seth Rogen gave an amazing review of the show back in last may. The amount of weed they smoked is astronomical.
