Missy Elliott Says Says She’s Praying For Whitney Houston’s Daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown

After delivering an amazing performance alongside Katy Perry at Super Bowl XLIX yesterday (Feb 1.)—plus propelling eight songs on the iTunes Top 200 Songs chart—Missy Elliott has a heavy heart after learning about the Bobbi Kristina Brown incident. While speaking with The Insider, the "Work It" rapper opened up about her relationship with Bobbi Kristina.

"Bobbi is like a little sister to me," said Missy. "I have been very close to her mother. One thing that her mother said to me before she passed away was to make sure Bobbi Kristina was straight, so my prayers for healing [are] that she comes out and be around people that love her."

Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston, was hospitalized this past weekend after being found unconscious in her bathtub (Jan. 31). After this news was made public, Missy tweeted the message below.
