Man Killed Outside Of Pre-Grammy Party

The 2015 Grammy weekend took a turn for the worse last night when a man was shot and killed outside of the Hollywood Supperclub during a pre-Grammy party in what is suspected as a gang-related shooting. According to reports from TMZ and Billboard an argument between two men outside of the popular night club ended in gunshots. One man was taken to the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the head and was announced dead after arrival. Police reportedly say that both men were gang-affiliated and it is currently unclear if either party was ever inside the club. According to reports, authorities have a suspect in custody.

Based on multiple Instagram posts and tweets, the party appeared to be hosted by TDE's ScHoolboy Q. In attendance were Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa and DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia. XXL has reached out to TDE's reps for comment but have not heard back.

The incident is a somber note on what had been shaping up to be a great weekend for hip-hop. Earlier in the day, many of the biggest stars gathered for the annual Roc Nation pre-Grammy brunch and rubbed shoulders with corporate big shots from all over the corporate world. As for the awards themselves, performances by ?uestlove, Pharrell, Beyonce, John Legend, Common and Kanye West are scheduled to perform.
