Kid Cudi appeared on IFC's Comedy Bang! Bang! last night (Feb. 18). Cudi and the show's host, Scott Aukerman, discussed the do's and don'ts for dates at a concert as co-host/bandleader Reggie Watts pretended to be Prince. The Cleveland native instructs Aukerman on how to properly hit on your date during a concert. Things take a left when the three of them start imitating the Purple One's infamous moaning sounds, which are spot on by Cudi. It's an amazing minute-plus clip. Cudi will also be replacing Reggie Watts on the podcast in July. Read the details here.

Cudi has been on the big screen a lot lately. Last month, he starred in the film James White, which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. The "Day 'N' Night" artist played the gay best friend of the movie's title character and recently said he wish his kissing scenes weren't cut out. ”I’m mad [Mond] cut out my kissing scenes with David,” Cudi said during a Q&A session. “We made out so many times — and it was so good! That’s my only gripe.” The Man On The Moon MC is also in the upcoming Vincent-N-Roxxy film starring Zoe Kravitz. The movie wrapped up last month as well, so that should be hitting screens soon. Cudder also starred in Two Night Stand and CBS' Scorpion.

In terms of music, Kid Cudi gave fans an update on the release of his fifth studio album, Man on the Moon III. He's linking back up with producers Emile Haynie, Plain Pat, A-Trak and Dot Da Genius. They are the same group that worked on Cudi’s previous two Man on the Moon LPs, so it’s only right they reunite for the long-awaited finale.

Watch him on IFC's Comedy Bang! Bang! above.
