This past weekend, Kanye West appeared (against his will) in some hilarious fan photos from Super Bowl XLIX. ‘Ye was sporting his signature scowl as Seahawk and Patriot fans in his general vicinity freaked out about being in the presence of rap royalty. You’d think a man who’s deemed himself a God would be use to worshippers documenting a Yeezus sighting by now. But clearly, he is not.

Kanye proceeded to flash his grimacing expression in almost every snap he was a part of. The only time he made even half a grin was when he was pictured with wife, Kim Kardashian West.

And although these fan’s Instagram pics have gone viral and social media has long since dubbed Yeezy the grinch of all celebrities, people don't give Yeezy enough credit when he actually does flash his pearly whites. The musical messiah recently explained that he doesn’t smile simply because it's not cool. And since being cool is basically his job, ‘Ye has been steadfast in his anti-smile campaign for years. In other words, it's not that he hates life (he has a pretty dope one), or wants you to think he's an asshole (doubt he cares anyway), it's just that he's maintaining the cool.

But, like any normal human, when he can't contain his excitement, Kanye does occasionally flash his pearly whites. And one thing you can't argue is that the man is passionate about what he does.
