Jay Z and Beyoncé have reportedly taken the next step in their Western migration. According to the New York Post's Page Six, the couple has signed a one-year lease on a home in Holmby Hills, a neighborhood in western Los Angeles, adjacent to both Beverly Hills and Bel Air. (The couple had been previously house-hunting in the former, where they lost out on a bidding war that threatened to make the leap into 9 figures.) The 16,000-square foot house is on its own 1.32-acre lot and sports 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. It is the same home the superstars rented last year for a reported $200,000 per month.

Though this doesn't quite make the move from New York official, it is certainly a major legal step. There is no word as to whether Jay and Beyoncé plan to make an offer on the home, but it is currently listed for some $35 million. The relocation makes sense, as their 3-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, has been enrolled in an elite private school in Los Angeles. According to previous reports from the Post, the couple is not expected to sell their New York residence.

Beyoncé and Jay were previously seen in Los Angeles at the Grammys, where they won for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song for their collaboration "Drunk In Love," from Beyoncé's self-titled 2013 album. That record also won the award for Best Surround Sound Album.
