Hip-Hop Performances To Watch At The 2015 Grammys

The performance line-up for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards definitely proves that hip-hop can fit in anywhere.

From Jay Z and Chris Martin to Eminem and Elton, music's biggest night has long since been known for amazing genre-blending collabs. And this year's festivities are gearing up to hit us with a one-two punch. Here's how hip-hop will flex at this year's ceremony. We got the break down of what you can expect from hip-hop come Sunday night.

1. ?uestlove

Roots frontman ?uestlove will be on hand for a live jam session with legendary jazz bandleader Herbie Hancock, rocker John Mayer and 'Album of the Year' nominee Ed Sheeren.

2. Beyoncé, John Legend and Common

In a more turned down performance compared to last year, Beyoncé will perform the gospel song "Take My Hand Precious Lord" from the Selma motion picture soundtrack before handing off duty to Common and John Legend. The two will then take over to perform their Oscar-nominated "Glory" from the same Martin Luther King Jr. biopic. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Common said to "expect the spirit of what the movie is about" to show through in their stage presence.

3. Pharrell

Rapper/producer Pharrell Williams will handle things on his own in a solo performance. The Voice coach won big at last year's ceremony thanks to a feature credit on Daft Punk's Random Access Memories which won Album of the Year. This year, Pharrell's second solo album, G.I.R.L, is contending for the same top prize. Could lightning strike twice?

4. Kanye West (x2)

Finally, Kanye West will appear onstage twice in the same night. Once in conjunction with Rihanna and Paul McCartney for the first live performance of their new single, "FourFiveSeconds" and once alone to premiere a "never-before-seen live performance" according to Time. Can the Grammys even handle that much Yeezus? We'll see.

Ye's soulful single "Bound 2" is up for honors in two categories, Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration thanks to the beautiful hook sung by R&B great Charlie Wilson. As part of a little free pre-Grammy PR, 'Ye's wife, Kim Kardashian West, tweeted a pic of Yeezy's already impressive collection of gold gramophones with the hashtag, #GETREADY.
