DJ Mustard Welcomes Baby Girl

I didn't get a Grammy this weekend nor was I nominated but I got my daughter and that's better than any award show / award !!!!!! Period !!!!

DJ Mustard has welcomed a baby girl into the world, posting the photo above to his Instagram account yesterday (Feb 8). Instead of attending The Grammys this year, he was in the hospital awaiting the birth of his daughter. A couple days ago he shared on Instagram that his girlfriend's water broke.

This year is starting off on a high note for Mustard, as he celebrates the birth of his daughter and continues to deliver dope spins. The remix prodigy has certainly been busy, dropping his cut to some of the most popular tracks out. His most recent mix was on Rihanna's "FourFiveSeconds" featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney. Mustard transformed the acoustic track into a party song, adding a little bit of a dance beat to it. Before that, Mustard dropped his remix to Ty Dolla $ign's "Stand For"  and "7/11" by Beyonce, turning both songs into club bangers. It's pretty evident that Mustard us trying to enter into the EDM circuit, which will be in primetime for the Summer. The Cali producer is making a strong push to expand his sound and has been headlining shows in major city areas like New York City and L.A. throughout 2014. As his stardom becomes bigger, it be interesting to see how he is accepted into that genre of music.

All hip-hop fans are probably happy that his short-lived beef with YG is over and done with. Fans hope Mustard and Mr. 400 can drop some fire now that they settled their misunderstanding with a fist-fight. Congrats to DJ Mustard.
