Looks like Beyoncé and Jay Z are moving to Los Angeles after all. Hip-hop's king and queen aren't letting losing a bid on a mansion to a video game designer stop them from moving west.

TMZ reports that the couple is actively looking for a home on the west side of Los Angeles and have already enrolled Blue Ivy in school. The power couple spent the summer in the Hills in a $200,000 a month rental. Hip-hop's first couple has been living in a hotel in Beverly Hills while they conduct their search for an estate. Back in December, they were close to buying a $85 million mansion in the Hills, but their offer wasn't chosen. Jay and Bey are currently looking to find a home in Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills or Bel-Air, and have already checked out a number of homes on the low.

Their three-year old daughter, Blue Ivy, has been enrolled in an elite private school toddler program that costs $15,080 a year. The school typically doesn't accept students halfway through the year, but an exception was made for the power couple. Sources say Jay and Bey want a "change in lifestyle." No word on if they are selling their New York home.

If the Carters buy a new mansion this month, it won't be the only thing Jay has shelled out millions for. The rapper and business man recently purchased a Scandinavian must streaming company called Aspiro for $56 million dollars.
