Everyone is adding their two cents into the Kanye West debate and now 50 Cent is getting in on the action. While sitting down for an interview with PEOPLE Magazine to promote his FRIGO underwear line, Fif was asked about the Grammy controversy and seemed to take Beck's side.

"[Beck] produced the record, wrote the record," said Kanye. "There's 11 producers on Beyonce's album. Kanye being a writer and producer should see that."

The more interesting part of Fifty's quick segment were his thoughts on the Grammys as a whole. The G-Unit leader is still irritated that he lost the Grammy for Best New Artist to the nu-metal band Evanescence in 2003 (ironically, Fifty pulled a similar stunt to Kanye by bum rushing the stage at the '03 Grammys) and argued that people don't care about these award shows anymore.

"I'm not sure people care about those establishments anymore," said Fifty. "My reason for being excited for an awards show is my peers are there to acknowledge the work. If it means that we get to choose ourselves who wins the awards, then why would I show up for them to tell me? At points I felt like I deserved Best New Artist for my record, it was the largest selling debut album with 13 million records sold. When was the last time you've seen Evanescence? Crickets. Crickets. But that's just the way it is."
