LL Cool J's career continues to thrive thirty years after his debut album, Radio, dropped. The timeless MC continues to perform, release music, and appear on television. The busy entertainer will add another job to his list as he has been tabbed to host Lip Sync Battle, a spinoff show from the popular recurring sketch on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

"Like the rest of the world, I'm a big fan of these battles, but this show is going to bring it to a whole new level," LL said via a press release. "I'm thrilled to be working with Jimmy Fallon, John Krasinski, Stephen Merchant and the entire team to host the show and can't wait for the fans at home to join in!"

LL Cool J will also be credited as a producer on the show. Shooting is scheduled to begin this month and the show will premiere on April 2.
