In a clip from OWN's upcoming documentary, Light Girls, Amber Rose breaks down in tears. The usually poised model is overcome by her feelings of anger and betrayal over her family's refusal to attend her 2013 wedding to rapper Wiz Khalifa. The reason for their abstention? Wiz is African-American.

Rose, who is half-Creole, half-Italian, tells OWN that her family feels they are "superior, or better than an African-American" due to their Creole culture. "Our younger generation, we've embraced [modern] culture so much," she says, citing her elder family members' racial biases and her father's whiteness.

Rose and Khalifa are currently in the process of finalizing their divorce. Light Girls airs tonight (Jan. 19) on OWN at 9:00 p.m. EST.
