Houston's prolific Kirko Bangz is back with his second project this year, Progression V: Young Texas Playa. Though the "Drink In My Cup" rapper reportedly gave up sipping lean, the purple-hued cover and nods to legends like Pimp C are decidedly on-pharmacy brand. Progression V features Pimp C's UGK partner Bun B, along with Riff Raff and Boston George. Though a release date has yet to be set for Bangz' debut LP Bigger Than Me, the former XXL freshman shows here a refined versatility.
