Iggy Azalea Is Working With Britney Spears
Iggy Azalea had arguably the biggest year of any artist in music and she’s looking to start 2015 off with a bang. While doing a radio interview with Kiss 108 in Boston, Azalea revealed that she will appear on pop superstar Britney Spears’ first single of the year. “We have a song, which is going to be her first single, coming out next year,” said Iggy. “I still haven’t really got to have a conversation with her, so I’m hoping New Year’s will be the time I can get her in a corner.”
According to Iggy, Spears said in an interview that she would be interested in working with the rapper and someone from Spears’ camp reached out. From there, the two started working on music. “We recorded a few different things and then one of those just ended up being, I think, undeniably great,” said Iggy.
There’s no timetable or release date for the song at this time.
