For all the fervor over Iggy Azalea and the decades of racial baggage she brings with her, another white, female rapper from Australia is taking center stage with a living legend. Abbie Cornish, an actress best known for her role in this year's RoboCop reboot, will be opening for none other than Nas when he visits the land down under in January.

Cornish, who raps under the moniker Dusk, has reportedly been hard at work on an EP, Key Of The Sun. Though she has yet to officially release a single song, she has suggested that the entire record will be released imminently. The 32-year-old has been honing her craft for some time now, with blurry Youtube clips dating back to 2007 chronicling her journey (see below).

Nas will be in Australia wrapping up his year-long commemoration of Illmatic, which was released in 1994.
