Flavor Flav Marches In Ferguson
If 911 wasn't a joke before, it sure is now. In the last ten days, two white police officers have been cleared of any wrongdoing in the murders of two unarmed black men. Now, another artist is adding his voice to the sea of protesters: Flavor Flav.
Last night (Dec. 4), the Public Enemy star joined protesters in Ferguson, Mo. in protesting the August death of Michael Brown and the recent non-indictment of the gunman, Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. Flav stressed the importance of boots-on-the-ground activism, saying "If we want justice, we need to be in the street working for justice." He also called police violence "an epidemic" that plagues the country at large.
Protests last night resulted in at least two arrests.
