As details from the tragic death of Stephanie Moseley and her husband rapper Earl Hayes continue to develop, the sadder the incident becomes. Hayes reportedly pulled a gun on his estranged wife and then later on himself after concerns of infidelity with singer Trey Songz clouded his mind. According to a recent Billboard report, the two were attempting to reconcile their differences just days before the murder-suicide occurred.

Hayes and Moseley were married for five years before separating for a short period. The couple recently got back together to try to work through their problems. Homicide Detective Scott Masterson said Moseley spoke to family members in Canada last Thursday to assure them "things were going pretty (well) and that she was upbeat and optimistic about things."

Reports also revealed a massive amount of weed was found in the apartment where the horrific incident took place. Approximately 10 pounds of high-grade marijuana was found there, averaging about $40,000 in street value, according to TMZ.  How or if the drugs are connected to the murder-suicide have yet to be disclosed.

Detectives are eager to speak with Floyd Mayweather Jr., who allegedly spoke with Moseley days before the murder-suicide.
