Kendrick Lamar graces the cover of the Winter 2014 issue of XXL. With his first solo cover, Kendrick penned the cover story himself. The TDE rapper speaks of the trials and tribulations he's endured along his rise to stardom over the last two years.
"When I try to soak it all in, that's the only thing that scares me," says Kendrick in the XXL cover story titled Writer At War, featured in the clip above. "Life is sad in general and I'm meeting these different people everyday, it kind of snaps me back into reality outside of what I do."
