If you follow 50 Cent on social media, then you should be familiar with how much he promotes and boasts about his headphone line SMS Audio. Whether it's with hashtags on his Instagram posts or linking promotional sales for the brand on his Twitter, it's easy to see how proud the Jamaica, Queens rapper is about the growth and success of his product. 50 recently chopped it up with The Guardian to discuss a long list of topics, including why he believes SMS Audio headphones are better than Beats By Dre headphones.

50 Cent has always been up front about his feelings, so when he was asked if he truly believed his brand of headphones was better he cordially responded, "I actually don’t own any Beats. And, yes, they are better."

The man who was once banned for wearing SMS Audio headphones at Interscope Records because of their Beats affiliation went on to further explain the reasoning behind his answer, stating his products have reached a more universal audience while Beats has secured the hip-hop circuit.

"If you look at the process we had to go through to make sure we had the right signature style for each headset, we wanted them to sound better across all genres of music," he said. "If you listen to some of the Beats headsets, the bass is a little heavier. It’s targeting a hip-hop audience and that’s not as good. That’s just my opinion."

In addition, 50 announced that he is releasing another album in 2015 other than Street King Immortal. 50 revealed that he also has plans on releasing an album titled Beautiful Nightmare.

“I’m the guy from the neighbourhood who’s becoming a symbol of hope,” 50 Cent said. “They look at me and go, ‘It is possible to make it.’ I took all the dysfunctional behaviour, everything damaging or that wasn’t good in my life, and I turned it into the most beautiful nightmare you can actually create. That’s my life…That’s the title of one of my next albums. Street King Immortal is the new one to come out, but the one after that might be Beautiful Nightmare. I’ve got thousands of titles.”
