No beef? Troy Ave passed by Hot 97 and chopped it up with Ebro and the gang to discuss his "beef" with rap rookie iLoveMakonnen. According to Troy, it's all twitter nonsense.

"Man that ish was all twitter stuff. Man you know, everything is overhyped now," said the "All About The Money" rapper.

Last month, iLoveMakonnen performed at S.O.B.'s in NYC and was attacked by a fan. Many speculated that the fan was an affiliate of Troy Ave. When asked if he knew about any of the shenanigans, Troy dismissed it.

"Nah. I mean, I mean a lot to my city. I know a whole bunch of people that be around a lot of people. It's like if somebody is saying something about Drake, and you're walking around the streets of Toronto, you don't know who's gonna feel a way about it."

Troy and Makonnen's supposed beef stems from a tweet that highlighted the ATL native's annoyance with everyone remixing his "Tuesday" record. Despite never meeting iLoveMakonnen, Troy grew a liking to the record and decided to remix it.

"I never met the dude. I just liked his record. So I remixed it. You know, I do keymixes. I do that to everybody's record. Everybody else loves it.," he said.
