Talk about making major moves. In the past, Common tackled numerous acting roles ranging from American Gangster to Just Wright. Now, the Chi-town rapper will get his Wayne Brady on and become a host on the small screen. According to Indiewire, Common will be hosting the first ever furniture design competition show on Spike TV.

The show is called Framework and it entails 13 aspiring furniture makers competing for $100,000. In addition, they each will have the opportunity to sell their furnishings to a major furniture manufacturer.

You're probably wondering where's the correlation between Common and sofas, right? Well, here's your answer.

“Throughout his career as an artist, Common has been on the cutting edge of trends and brings his keen eye for style and understanding of consumer desire to the competition," says the synopsis for Framework.

Looks like a win for the Nobody's Smiling rapper.
