On just the second date of his Nobody's Smiling tour, Common was already bringing out surprise guests. On Nov. 24 at Los Angeles' famous House Of Blues, the Chicago rapper was joined on stage by Seal. The surprise appearance came during a rendition of Com's J Dilla-produced hit "The Light."

The tour, which continues Friday in Albuquerque, also sports the elusive Jay Electronica as an opening act. The two have previously worked together on the remix to Common's single "Kingdom." (The original and remix also feature Long Beach rapper and Def Jam signee Vince Staples.)

The tour is in support of the album of the same name, released in July to critical acclaim. Produced entirely by No I.D., Nobody's Smiling also featured deluxe edition covers depicting several up-and-coming Chicago artists such as Lil' Herb and Lil' Bibby.
