According to Courthouse News, The Game is being sued for bailing on a scheduled performance at the annual Kentucky Derby Festival on May 2. The Compton rapper—who recently released his new album Blood Moon: Year Of The Wolfwas reportedly upset because he wasn't asked to headline the festival, so he skipped out on his entire set. The promoter, Dream Team LLC, is looking to earn over $75,000 in damages for breach of contract and conversion from The Game, Cash Jones and Fifth Amendment Entertainment.

On April 11, The Game signed a contract to perform and was wired $35,000 to seal the deal, according to a detailed seven-page complaint against the artist. Apparently Cash Jones called Dream Team the day of his expected performance to say he would not be hitting the stage unless he is broadcasted as the festival's headlining talent. The Game also refused to return the deposit or pay the $30,000 cancellation fee.

"Following multiple discussions defendant, Cash Jones made an eleventh-hour determination that the Game would not travel to Louisville and would not perform at the event," the complaint went on to say.

The Game has yet to comment on the legal suit.
