Looks like fans will have to wait an extra three weeks to get their hands on Nicki Minaj's upcoming album The Pinkprint. This comes as a surprise because the Queens rapper got her Barbz hyped when she originally announced in early September on Twitter that the album was set to drop on Nov. 24. According to a press release from Minaj's team, The Pinkprint has officially been pushed back to a Dec. 15 release.

Today, Minaj is expected to release a new single called "Only" featuring Drake, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne after surprising fans with the track's cover art over the weekend. While three weeks doesn't seem like too much of a wait, there are some loyal fans who might take it a little hard.

Nicki's not the only YMCMB artist to have release date issues—label boss Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V was originally supposed to drop today, Oct. 28, but it too has been pushed back, though a new date hasn't yet been set for Weezy. A reasoning behind Nicki's release change wasn't revealed, but XXL will update you on any further changes if they arise.
