Will we be getting new music from Nas soon? According to the man himself, yes we will.

In an interview with with Power 105.1's Angie Martinez yesterday (Oct. 1), Angie asked about when we should be expecting new music from him, he replied "Real soon... Maybe sooner than next week. Maybe tomorrow." It would definitely make sense that Queensbridge MC would be looking to drop new music in the near future, especially because he stated on the remix to Schoolboy Q's "Studio" that new music was coming soon. He rapped, "Finished up my new album, single 'bout to be dropping/Last album on Def Jam and I got so many options."

Another interesting piece of information from the interview was he refused to listen to arguably his most infamous song, "Ether." If you remember, the infamous diss track was towards Jay Z during their well-publicized feud in the early 2000s. When referring to that track, considered by many to be one of the greatest diss tracks of all-time, Nas said, "I don't listen to that. That, or the other thing [Jay-Z's "Takeover"]. [Jay-Z] knows that. I told him I can't listen to that stuff. It's great times, but that was then."
