Lil Wayne To Drop ‘Tha Carter V’ (Part 1) On December 9

Earlier today, Mack Maine tweeted that Lil Wayne was making a public service announcement to explain why Tha Carter V got pushed back. In the short clip, Wayne apologizes to his fans for the delay, but promises it will be worth the wait. He says he recorded too many songs for the album and wants fans to enjoy the complete package. Instead of dropping an album with a short tracklist, he's decided to split Tha Carter V into two parts. The first one will be dropping on Dec. 9 and the other will come out shortly after.
