Last night (Oct. 16), Def Jam celebrated their 30 years of success with a concert featuring some of its biggest artists, including Fabolous, Rick Ross, DMX, and more. Rising star Jhené Aiko was also scheduled to perform at the show, but pulled a no show without any warning. Once discovering she was MIA., fans took to Instagram to ask the artist what happened. Aiko later revealed she skipped out on the show because a female member of her management team was physically assaulted by a male employee at the venue.

According to MStarz.com, Aiko responded to a fan questioning her whereabouts on a throwback photo of the singer and her daughter. "@jheneaiko I love you n your music but explain y you weren't at Barclays tonight?! your fans wanna know! (We still love you tho lol),"asked the fan.

Aiko held nothing back, as she gave a shocking and unexpected response to the fan. She revealed after a member of her management was physically assaulted, she refused to step foot on stage. Aiko also eluded to acts of discrimination, explaining how none of the rappers who were expected to perform that night would have been treated that way.

"@ladiidestiny unfortunately me and my camp were told to "get the f*** out" by "workers" while I was waiting to go on stage, ....after this "worker" (male) physically assaulted a member of my management (female) ....we had to leave due to the disrespect and hostile environment. If there's one thing I can't rock with, it's disrespect.... if me and my band members were any of the rappers that were performing there, we would have never been talked to or treated in such a way. I'm sorry that I was unable to perform for you tonight.... hope to see you soon!"

Does anyone else smell a lawsuit on the way?
