Iggy Azalea Leads American Music Awards 2014 With Six Nominations

This should mute all the negativity regarding Iggy's festive weekend with the paparazzo. 2014 continues to be a blissful one for the Aussie rapper. It was announced today (Oct. 13) that Iggy Azalea leads the 2014 American Music Awards with six nominations. This shouldn't come as a surprise considering her single "Fancy" proved to be a chart-topping record this year.

The categories that she's nominated for includes "Artist of the Year," "New Artist of the Year," "Single of the Year," and more.  Following Iggy in nominations are Pharrell, John Legend, and Katy Perry with five, Lorde with four, and Eminem and Beyonce are right behind them with three.

Artist of the Year is the most interesting category with 10 nominees. The nominees are Iggy, Beyoncé, Luke Bryan, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, John Legend, Lorde, One Directon, Katy Perry, and Pharrell.

The awards show till take place live at the Nokia Theater in L.A. November 23. Check out the full list of nominees below.
