Hot 97 hosted T.I.'s album listening for his upcoming LP Paperwork: The Motion Picture at SOBs in New York City last night (Oct. 20). The event was packed with diehard T.I. fans, industry executives, music tastemakers and a couple of rappers such as Brooklyn native Manio and rising upstart Dej Loaf. The event was set up as a sit down interview with Tip and Hot 97's morning show personality Ebro as the interviewer. The Hustle Gang head honcho broke down songs off Paperwork while giving fans an preview of his new songs. Fans were literally screaming relentlessly when T.I. walked on stage. Tip discussed how he was able to have a decade long career, crediting his musical mentors DJ Toomp, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz and (especially) Pharrell. "Pharrell challenged me to go a different route with my music," said T.I.

The question everyone was waiting to hear asked to T.I. is what was said during his conversation with Snoop to stop the Iggy feud. As the wily veteran he is, Tip dipped and tip-toped around the question like Muhammad Ali in his prime ("We spoke about a lot us stuff, my children. his children..."). Finally he opened up and said the conversation didn't take long before the issue was addressed, with Snoop saying it was a joke that went too far and it's over.

As the night went on, Tip expressed that he wants to make the sequel to ATL and discussed the idea with Lauren London already (she played his love interest New New/Erin Garnett). The only road block is if Warner is going support it or if they can give him the rights so he can fund it. With Tiny—who has her own tequila—in attendance, the "About The Money" artist gave great advice to the crowd about how his marriage is still going strong ("The secret to a good marriage is to find more reasons to stay together then to be a part"). He brought singer Victoria Monet on stage and praised her songwriting ability on the thought provoking record "New National Anthem." The night ended on a great note with T.I. bring Dej Loaf on stage and welcoming her to Columbia Records then he proceed to take pictures with every fan in attendance.

After the event, T.I. was caught by TMZ cameras where he says he ended the Snoop Dogg/Iggy Azalea beef "out of the kindness of his heart (watch below)."

It was a great night in NYC.
