Coolio Wishes He Worked With Nirvana Before Kurt Cobain’s Suicide

Could there have been a possible collaboration between Coolio and Nirvana? Well according to the “Gangsta’s Paradise” rapper, its something he wished happened. In a recent interview with Spin Coolio stated that he always wanted to work with Kurt Cobain and was upset about his suicide in 1994 because he wanted to do a collaboration..

“I was mad at Kurt,” said the rapper. ”Why you gotta do that before I do a song with you? They didn't see that shit coming? C'mon! Put the motherfucker on Thorazine; dose him up so he can stay alive.”

Not exactly the most sensitive statement made by Coolio. He did follow it up by saying that society puts a large negative stigma on drug users. In the interview he also talked about some of his favorite songs including Queen Latifah’s "U.N.I.T.Y.," Tupac’s “Keep Ya Head Up” and 69 Boyz early 1990’s classic “Tootsee Roll.”
