Young Thug has been on his grind with the Cash Money crew lately, recently saying that he's recorded “a million tracks with [Lil] Wayne already,” in addition to working on a mixtape with Birdman and Rich Homie Quan that drops Sept. 29. Now, it seems that Thugger has his sights set on his solo debut. After seemingly jokingly saying earlier this year that he planned on naming his debut album Tha Carter VI, it seems that he's serious about it.

“I dunno, ’cause Wayne’s coming out with more albums,” the Atlanta rapper told MTV News while on set for a Rich Gang video in Atlanta on Sept. 11. “I don’t know if he’s gonna name one of them Carter VI. It depends on what he names his album.”

Wayne had previously said that Tha Carter V would be the last entry in Tha Carter series, which would give Thug the opportunity to make Tha Carter VI, and any other installments he wants to add after that. “Carter VI to X, he did one to five, i'm gonna do six to 10,” said Thug.
