Frank Ocean’s Dad Is Suing Russell Simmons

Frank Ocean's father, Calvin Cooskey, was feeling some type of way after Russel Simmons' website Global Grind called Cooskey a deadbeat father. According to TMZ, Cooskey is claiming that he's been unfairly portrayed as a horrible father and is suing Simmons for $142 million. In the suit, Ocean's father, who hasn't been a part of the singer's life since he was five-years-old, says he wasn't allowed to father Ocean because his "money grubbing mother" moved and hid the boy from him. Cooskey is claiming to be a singer, writer and inventor and says the $142 million will cover the loss of future income he will suffer after being defamed by the hip-hop mogul. Simmons' camp has not released a statement at this time.
