All DJ Khaled does is win and now he's trying to do so in the court of law. According to a report from Billboard, DJ Khaled, via his DJ Khaled Productions, Inc., has filed a lawsuit against his former record label Entertainment One aka eOne claiming that the label breached his contract. Khaled claims that eOne failed to properly account and pay record and mechanical royalties that amount to at least $1 million for four records released between 2006-2010.

During those four years, Khaled released Listennn...the AlbumWe The BestWe GlobalVictory, and Live From The 305 with E Class. In a motion filed by eOne last week, the company claimed it is exempt from the bulk of Khaled's claims. Entertainment One says that it did in fact release the accounting in question and cited a clause in Khaled's contract that limits his audit rights as well as a clause that limits his right to pursue litigation to one year after an "objection period." Based on that clause, Khaled's suit would be "contractually barred from asserting the claims set forth in the complaint for the periods 2006 through 2010."

Entertainment One also states that it allowed an audit of its accounting records in April 2014 for the appropriate review period per their contract but Khaled's accountant was a no-show.
