Denzel Washington recently made a quick stop by The Queen Latifah Show during his media run to promote his new film The Equalizer. During the visit the two talked about Denzel’s musical influences, including growing up with Ludacris’ late father Wayne Bridges.

After talking about his childhood friendship with Bridges, Denzel brought up the story of the time he hung with Lenny Kravitz and Jay Z. To better tell the story the actor offered up a spot on impression of how one of his favorite rappers spoke during his studio visit as listening to “Change Clothes” for the first time. Check out the interview above.
