TV One’s ‘Celebrity Crime Files’ Will Spotlight Chris Lighty’s Death
The untimely death of Chris Lighty sent a shock wave through the hip-hop community in 2012. The apparent suicide left many close friends and family questioning if there was any foul play.
On tonight’s episode of Celebrity Crime Files rappers LL Cool J and Busta Rhymes will discuss their suspicions of wrongdoing involving his death. The show will explore his death and detail the private investigation launched by 50 Cent and Lighty’s mother.
Private investigator Les Levine told FOX News that it’s highly possible that Lightly committed suicide. He said “There is absolutely no possibility that Chris Lighty would commit suicide over money. No I don’t believe that Chris would kill himself over his marriage.”
Lightly is best known for establishing Violator Management where he handled the careers of Busta Rhymes and LL Cool J. He is also known for working with 50 Cent.
The episode airs tonight (Sept. 8) at 10 P.M. EST on TV One.
